Specialising in psychotherapy working with children, adolescents and adults.
I am a psychotherapist working with children, adolescents, families and adults. I offer therapeutic support for a wide range of issues including anxiety, low mood, high levels of anger, eating disorders, compulsive behaviours, low self-esteem, abuse and trauma.
I trained at The Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust as a psychodynamic psychotherapist working with children, young people, parents and young adults.I have also trained in systemic theory, which I feel enhances my understanding of the relationship between my clients and possible impact of their surrounding environments. Prior to joining The CDC.London, I was a clinician within Social Services offering therapeutic support as part of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services team (CAMHS), working with a range of needs and high-level trauma. I also have extensive experience providing therapy in schools with the organisation Place 2 Be.
I have since qualified to work with Adults and do so in private practice.
I offer both short and long term interventions depending on the needs of the individual. When working with younger clients I will work collaboratively with the family and network around the individual if deemed helpful.
